The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) recently announced that it would not be extending the Sydney datacasting trial service Digital Forty Four, operated by Broadcast Australia, beyond 30th April 2010.

This will mean that the Expo Channel will no longer be available in the Sydney Metropolitan area on this service.

The Expo Channel has been a part of this trial that began in 2004 and are saddened by the news that despite the trial service being successful it will no longer continue.

The Expo Channel thanks all those who have supported us over this period. The Expo Channel continues to be available on all subscription TV platforms, Foxtel, Austar and Optus and via the Expo Channel website.
